Due to the recent opening of H&M, other new stores and people beginning their Christmas shopping we are currently experiencing high demand at the Queensgate car park.
Alternative parking options nearby include:
1. Commuter Zones: HC3 – 260 car parks
Monday–Friday 9am–5pm, $6.00 per day.
Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays free.

*Streets that are within a 5–7 minute walk to Queensgate Shopping Centre.
2. Myrtle Street: HC4 – 18 car parks

West side – Laings Rd to Knights Rd (next to Council Admin building)
3. Riverbank car park zone: HC4 – 601 parks
Monday–Friday 9am–5pm, $4 per day.
A monthly pass $62 per month
(reduced to $46 for January).

NOTE: Riverbank Market runs every Saturday from 6am–2pm reducing the number of available car parks. The south end of the market (enter from Daly/Dudley St roundabout) is the best location for available parking spaces.

Melling Station – operates Monday–Friday
Waterloo Station – the closest to the CBD operates seven days a week.
Buses
Bus timetables to and from Queensgate are available at metlink.org.nz. Buses run frequently between Wellington City and the Hutt Valley.
Bicycles and walking are also a great way to get into and out of Lower Hutt CBD.
